Hi I'm Jason Hochstein

I grew up in western Canada. I am a husband, a father, an aerospace engineer and a citizen of the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of two. I earned degrees in engineering and space studies. I love to travel and experience world history and the myriad of cultures and languages that comprise our planet. My passions are my family, serving others, space exploration, music, woodworking and continually learning something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a deep love for Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice for me as His younger brother. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I feel that I have found answers to the most profound questions in life. I know where I come from, my purpose here on Earth, and my potential for the future. I know that God lives and that he is the same today as he was in the days of the scriptures. He continues to perform miracles, call modern prophets and speak truth to our souls through the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that no matter what, God will always be with me and that there is nothing that I cannot overcome or achieve with his help.

How I live my faith

I strive to attend my weekly church meetings and support the other members of my congregation in their volunteer activities. I try to treat everyone I meet as my brother or sister, regardless of their religion, race, opinion or otherwise. I am responsible for supporting the young men's group (ages 12-17) in our congregation by organizing weekly activities and service projects, teaching gospel-centered lessons on Sundays, and being a friend and example.
