Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a special education teacher in a small town. I love to talk...with almost anyone! I love to sing, I love to play the piano, I love to perform and watch performances. I love sports and I love people! I graduated from college and went on to serve a mission for the LDS church to Argentina. I was adopted into a loving, beautiful family when I was 12 years old and it has eternally changed my life for the better. I have a beautiful life and am happy with everything I have received.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young girl I struggled to understand the confusion of religions. I attended a church very infrequently with my biological family and from the ages of 8-12 I lived in a catholic care facility, where I attended another non-denominational church. I could never fill the space that was inside because I still felt confusion. When I was adopted into an LDS family at the age of 12, I learned, but not originally from missionaries. I learned from examples. This family taught me more about love, faith, hope, and happiness than I'd learned anywhere else. When I saw the light in their eyes, I wanted it in my own. I was baptized 4 months later, and since then I have been on a journey to learn to believe for myself everything I've learned. I feel happier than I could have ever felt and am so grateful that the empty space inside my soul was filled when I learned that God loves us today as much as He loved His children in the times of the scriptures. He lives today and teaches us today, just as He always has.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I live my life. Everyday I wake up in the morning and say a prayer to thank Heavenly Father for another day of life. I ask for opportunities to serve others throughout the day. I have the chance to serve many inside the church and outside the church. I've learned that truly being "in the service of our fellow beings" brings more happiness to our lives than any other activity. I love to spend time at activities at church because they are wholesome and fun.
