Hi I'm BJ

I grew up in Wyoming, my husband and I have 6 boys between us. We met latter in life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Idaho and I have 3 grown boys and many grandchildren. My husband is a miner. I am a stay at home wife and love to bake bread and feed my chickens. We love rock hounding,4-wheeling or visiting with our family. I have a son in Alaska, Wyoming and Utah. My husband has 3 grown boys also. We love Idaho, and the mountains, and the history of the area and visiting the old mining sites. We also love to vacation in Hawaii or Alaska.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon since 1975. I had questions about where I came from and why we are here on earth, and what happens to our families after we die. Some friends introduced me to the church and I lived with them for a short while and got to see 1st hand the happiness the gospel brings to families and the blessings that come from living it's precepts. My husband and I love the gospel and we count our blessings daily. We look forward to every new step in this process we call life, and look forward to forever together.

How I live my faith

I love doing genealogy, finding out where my family came from. Mine are English. My husband had many pioneers in the 1800's. As I search for these members of my family and search out their history, I gain a feeling of closeness to them and also find out who I really am. I work in the church genealogy library where I can help others find there families and gain that feeling of being connected also. We live about 27 miles out of our town and we have a little get together, we call it a family home evening about once a month with some of our neighbors. We sing songs, and visit and give each other inspiration on living like God would have us live. Of course we have a potluck where everyone brings a food to eat as we talk. We also enjoy our meetings on Sunday, and as my husband and I spend those Quality minutes on driving to & from church, those 27 miles melt away. Our Ward is our extended family and we have grown to love them and the way they are always truely concerned about us and willing to help in times of need. And we love helping them also.
