Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a busy mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am wife, and a stay at home mother of two very busy little kids. My days are filled with a lot of laughs, hard work, and occasionally tears (usually they belong to my son, but I have been known to shed a few). I am a photographer, when my time and schedule allow it, and love to do portraits-especially of children. Our family recently relocated for my husband's law school, and we are enjoying all the adventures of building our new life in a new city.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by a loving mother, who put her heart and soul into teaching my brothers, sister and I the gospel. It is through my mother's loving explanations of the gospel, and by watching her gentle example I gained my first bit of testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. Through prayer and through reading the Book of Mormon my testimony has strengthened. I know from experience that prayer is a direct channel through which we are able to speak with God; we are able to ask for his help and his guidance in all that we are doing. Through daily study of the Book of Mormon my testimony grows. The scriptures are written to us, and for us. They are a guide for us to help us find our way back to live with our father again. I have found that there is a happiness that living the gospel offers that can't be found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

At church I am called to take care of and teach the 18 month to 3 year old children during class time. The children are so full of life and energy, most Sundays I come home happy, but worn out. The children are so full of the light of Christ and eager to learn of him. I enjoy having a chance to help them learn the simple truths of the gospel.
