Hi I'm Ron

I grew up in Utah, served a mission in Australia. I met my wife at the at the U of U, have three teenage kids, and live in Georgia

About Me

I am married and a father of 4 children. Our first child was still born and the other 3 (girl and two boys) all all excelling in school. My wife is a nurse and is currently persuing another degree, this one as a nurse practioner. I have two university degrees, one in communications and a MBA in marketing. I love to travel to new places and love basketball. Most of my hobbies are around family and sports. We moved from Utah about 8 years ago and now live in Dacula Georgia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon but had to gain my own personal testimony that the church is true. Through much study of the scriptures and prayer, the Holy Ghost has spoke to my heart and mind that the Church is true!

How I live my faith

I visit with many families each month. Most of the families I see have only one or two who belong to the church. I try to include everyone with my visits because my friends include everyone. I also serve in the church as a High Priest Group counselor. This means teaching priesthood lessons once a month on Sundays and helping people who are struggling. I love to play basketball and usually take charge of getting people to play at the meeting house every week.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Ron
I tell people who ask that through the priesthood of God that a man and a woman, who are worthy and living the gospel, can be sealed by the priesthood in one of God's temples for time and all eternity. We are not married just until death do up part, but for time and all eternity. Could you imagine going to heaven and not being with your family? Show more Show less
