Hi I'm Rebecca

I try to have an optimistic attitude about everything. I want to make a difference in someone's life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been studying Social Work for 2 years of college, and I worked for about a year afterward. Then I left on my mission to Missouri Independence and now I'm back trying to decide what to do. My favorite job in the whole wide world was when I spent 3 summers at Brighton LDS Girls Camp in Brighton, UT. It's been the absolute BEST job in the world being in the mountains, enjoying God's beauty on Earth, and helping young Beehives girls ages 12-13 discover their true potential as daughters of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in Utah and have been raised in the Church my whole life. I keep choosing to follow the Gospel because I know that I can have peace in this changing world. It helps me every day when I pray and I know that my prayers are always answered by our Father in Heaven. This church helps me have a better relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I've read The Book of Mormon and have prayed to know if it is true and if Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God to restore the Church. I felt the Spirit tell the truth to me that this book is true, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I have been going to Church for my whole life. I went to the youth programs that our church has and it has really helped me build and share my testimony with my youth friends who have believed that same things that I do. I left home to go to school and I still went to Church, since I know that it is true. Then it just kind of increased up til now. After a little bit of school, I served a full-time mission in Missouri Independence which has forever impacted my life. I hope to encourage youth members everywhere, male or female, to prepare to serve an honorable full-time mission. I know that it will change your perspective on how you look at others, the Gospel, and your Heavenly Father like it did for me. I love being a teacher in church, whether its for kids or the youth. I hope that by sharing my testimony more and more on what I know to be true, I can help others as well as myself.
