Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a college student who loves traveling the world and trying new things. My name is Sarah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Just like everyone else, I'm trying to get the most out of life. I love the outdoors and playing any sport that involves a ball. I played basketball, volleyball, and softball growing up and still shoot hoops in the driveway with my brother. I've almost finished a undergraduate degree in History with a minor in German. I work part time at a hospital to cover rent and save up to travel to different countries. I feel the world has so much offer and want to experience the variety that makes us all unique and different.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the peace and happiness it brings me. Life is tough and knowing who I am, where I come from, and where I'm going gives me the perspective and strength to handle whatever comes my way. As I continually learn more about Christ and His gospel, I am able to make choices that bring me a joy that supersedes anything wealth, power, or prestige can bring. The gospel inspires me to live up to my potential, whether it's at work, school, or with friends and family and gives me the hope I need to get through life's challenges.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I meet together with other young adults who attend the same university as me. In our meetings we learn more about Christ through lessons and personal stories and experiences which strengthen us and help us grow closer together. We also have activities throughout the week where we do service projects or just have fun together through games, recreation, or other activities. Once a month I get the chance go with another young woman to meet with one young woman in a more casual one-on-one setting to share a message and see if we can offer assistance. I am visited by two young women in turn. It's a fun way to get to know someone better and help out with any personal needs.
