Hi I'm Kandy

I am a Mormon. I grew up in Colorado and have been a member of the Church my whole life.

About Me

I love dogs and I currently own two wonderful terriers. I also enjoy swimming, reading and teaching.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon or Latter-Day Saint because I know the teachings are true. It is truly as simple as that. I have known since I was young that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who watches over me and guides me in my life here on earth. I know that families are able to be together forever, it gives me such joy to know that I can not only be with my parents forever, but also my sweet husband and, someday, children as well. The Church means everything to me, it is not just my religion, it is my life. Without it I would not be who I am today. I am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful organization and part of the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through teaching in the primary at church every sunday and also helping my husband with the young men of our church. Primary is a place that children through age twelve go to learn about the gospel and gain their testimonies. I am able to teach the 4 year olds and it is a wonderful blessing. They are able to understand concepts at levels that I am still trying to figure out. It has been a blessing to receive this calling. I help my husband with his calling by sometimes going to activities for the young men at our church. They learn values of integrity and honor as well as being responsible and respectful to themselves and those around them. It has been very fun to get to know those young men, they have so much to offer and will go great places in their lives.
