Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in Tupper Lake NY, I live in NW, CT on a 100 acre farm with horses, cattle, and chickens, and I'm mormon

About Me

I am a dad of eight children and my wife and I have been married 34 years. I own a commercial general contracting / construction manager business. I like working, golfing, hiking, traveling, and staying in shape

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel was brought to our family by a friend of my oldest daughter 13 years ago while they were juniors in high school. Upon seeing the change in her, my wife and I decided to visit the church and attend a Sacrament meeting. Shortly after the missionaries began to teach us the discussios and six months later, my wife, myself and at that time 5 children were baptized into the church. It has been the absolutley best thing that has ever happened to our family, it has been wonderful. I need to say without question that as you keep Jesus Christ first and foremost in your thoughts and your actions, your life will be blessed in so many ways it is hard to understand, but it is undeniably true.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church first is a home teacher. I have 7 families that I visit each month and spend time with them to bring a short message on a topic that may be specific and needed by the families. But it is a chance to nurture our relationship as friends. I am the first councilor in the bishopric for our ward. The leadership of the ward is set up with a bishop at the head and he has 2 councilors to assist hmi on the running of the ward. I am one of those councilors.
