Hi I'm David

I am a convert to the Church. I was Baptized on Sept. 4, 2010 and I am now a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, My name is David and I am 53 years old. I am married to Deborah and we will be celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary in September. We have 5 children, four girls and one boy. We have 12 grandchildren with two more on the way. I am a tractor trailer driver and my wife is retired. We live in Eastern New York near Albany. I like Camping, Hiking and enjoy being outdoors with all the wonderful things God has given us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can be. Heavenly Father sent all of us to Earth with Agency and you can pick and choose what you want to do in life. I investigated many different Churches and I chose the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints mainly because of the plan of Salvation and the thought of being sealed to your Family for Eternity. What a wonderful Gift our Heavenly Father has given us. It took me almost two years to be Baptized because I wanted to make sure that I was ready to change my Life and to have my Wife there with me.

How I live my faith

I am an Usher at my Ward and I attend Sacrament meeting every Sunday. I enjoy going to Church and Greeting all my Brothers and Sisters of the Ward. I also go to Gospel principals class and the Priesthood meetings. Being a Truck driver I spend alot of time driving so I purchased the Book of Mormon on CD and I listen to it as I drive. I have listened to it 5 times and everytime I do I get something new out of it. I Love going to all the Special events the Church puts on and also having the Missionaries over for Dinner at least once a Month.
