Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy a variety of activities, mostly just living life. Yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old, currently in south east Texas, serving in the Texas Houston East Mission. Texas is pretty neat, just really hot! I definitely love the mountains in Utah, but am starting to like the bayous and swamps and trees down here. I mostly enjoy playing basketball and soccer, but I wouldn't say no to a game of ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, etc. I love listening to music and spending time with my family and friends. Well, thats all.

Why I am a Mormon

As Alma says in the 32nd chapter of Alma "We will compare the word unto a a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me" I have seen this scripture come true in my own life, and that's how I know this church is true. Every time I read from the Book of Mormon I feel those swelling motions that enlarge my soul. I can't describe in writing what the Book of Mormon really means to me, but simply enough, it leads me to believe in and try to live like Jesus Christ. People can say what they may about the Book of Mormon, but if anyone is sincerely trying to get closer to Jesus Christ and to know the truth in this life, God will lead them to the Book of Mormon, because it contains His words.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in Houston Texas to teach others about how important the church is and how it can bless their lives.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Caleb
When missionaries visit any home they will teach about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They will teach about how God has called a prophet to lead and direct His church here on the earth, and that by obeying God's commandments we can have happiness fill our homes, and eventually return to live with Him someday. They will teach about Jesus Christ and how important he is to everyone here on earth. They teach that everyone can come to know these things are true by reading the Book of Mormon and asking God in sincere prayer if it's true.
