Hi I'm Athena.

I'm a triathlete and I'm a Mormon .

About Me

Working out at the gym teaches me discipline and focus that I use in my spiritual life, too. When I feel like I have read the word of God long enough, I think about how I pushed myself swimming that morning and I read longer. I also know the principle of reaping what I sow. Little by little, I know I will see better results when I exercise my faith and show patience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because day after day, I believe I will be happier as I live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that my marriage is getting stronger when I listen to our latter-day prophet's voice. God keeps giving me little peeks of simple truths when I am fully participating in worship on Sunday and in the temple.

How I live my faith

I try to do God's will for me and alot of times that is simply making a meal for my family or reading with a child.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Athena.
Not one Mormon woman is like another. There are Just as many varieties of women in the world as there are in the LDS church. Mormons believe that the value of men and women's roles are equal, but the divinely established responsibilities are different. Show more Show less
