Hi I'm Doug

I am an Assistant Professor of IT Innovation, a father of three girls, a huge sports fan, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 39-year-old father of three and just finished my PhD in Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona. I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, an MBA from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's of Science from the United States Air Force Academy. I am an avid sports fan (especially football) and currently research human-computer interaction.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe it is the happiest way to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good father to my children and by working hard in my profession.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

It is the grace of Jesus Christ that gives us the power to be better than we could be on our own in this life and it is His grace that will save us from the effects of our sins and mistakes. The grace of Christ enlarges the human spirit and is the power that will lift us to our divine potential. Grace is necessary for all of us. Show more Show less
