Hi I'm Sarah B.

I'm a Southern Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Sarah. I'm 26 years old and I joined the church in 2009. It is the best choice I have ever made. This church is complete in all ways possible. While most churches can't answer some difficult questions, this one can. I recently graduated college with a criminal justice degree and am about to further it by going back to school. I am an assistant manager at a restaurant. I am an Inactive duty soldier. I hope one day to be in a sheriffs department and also be into criminal profiling.. I am seperated from my husband and while I know family is forever we as humans can make mistakes in choosing who we marry and cause difficulties in our lives. The church has helped me with this seperation in so many ways. I know this church is true. God is a just but merciful god. Any mistakes we make we can go to him for forgiveness and counsel, but the people in this church can make living here on earth bearable and help us to see things in a better light.

Why I am a Mormon

Life has always been hard for me. I was born out of wedlock and taken from my real mother by my grandmother. She was very abusive. I never felt wanted or loved. My stepdad of 3 or 4 months (who had been my only father figure ever) died when I was 13. I know he loved me. The church offered hope! I know i can see him again in the end!

How I live my faith

I'm in the army to help others. I hope to join the sheriff's dept to do the same thing. I want to help not harm. I also make an effort to be kind to my employees. Many of them are not used to compliments or acts of kindness. I want them to know theres people out there that care for them and not what they can do.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Sarah B.
It was commanded that we all be baptized in order to receive glory. There were people that was part our lives who had never been able to be baptized. We do this to give our loved ones a chance to accept the gospel so that they may receive glory. It's up to them in the spirit world to accept! I know I'll be able to see my step dad again with this ordinance! Show more Show less
