Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in England and moved to Florida in 2005, I got my wife off t'internet and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Sheffield England whilst my dad was 3000 miles away in Maseira with the RAF. I was in Cyprus when war broke out in the early '70s and was evacuated with my mum and younger sister. I have lived in Berlin Germany when it was still a divided city and am only one of two people I know of who have walked through Checkpoint Charlie. I have been a musician and love playing bass. I still hang onto my English roots watching BBC America and Listening to BBC Radio. I met my now wife on "that there t'internet" and proposed to her in Paris,France on a very cold Valentines Day in 2005. We have 2 wonderful children, well 1 at least and 2 most of the time. I have worked in the Aerospace industry and know "it's not rocket science", and have been in financial services for over 10 years. I love working with people and meeting new friends.I love living life on the crazy side, I have been a Mormon since 2005.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon after the 2 missionaries came to visit and we started talking about religion and who God is and did Jesus really walk the Earth, through their lessons and being able to back up everything with Gospel passages I came to realize that God really is our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ did die for our sins and through faith in him we can live an eternal life.

How I live my faith

I was a Cub Scout Master and worked with the Boy Scouts but right now I am the supportive husband. My wife is a Young Women's President, which means she is over all the 12-18 year old young women in our ward, and I try to help with the kids and home so she can do what she needs to do.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Talk to your neighbours, besides having car insurance like 40 million others, the crazy ones might just be Mormons. Also seek out the local missionairies who are easily identifiable in their white shirts, ties and dark suits. they will have the answers to your questions and they will have some of the strongest testimonies you will hear.
