Hi I'm David

I grew up in Washington, studied chemical engineering for undergrad and am currently a medical student . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a wrestling family in Washington. In high school, I was valedictorian, captain of the wrestling team, and math team, and drum major of the band. I lived in Brazil for two years then met my wife while studying in Utah. Now I'm working my way through medical school and we've got a beautiful daughter who came to us in 2010.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had many experiences in my life which have convinced me that this is the true church of Christ. I'm a very logical person and I understand that there can only be one true church. Since every church's teachings contradict other church's teachings, then only one can be right. This church asks everyone to take the good that they have learned elsewhere and we'll add more truth on to complete your understanding. I don't pretend to know everything, but I know the Holy Ghost has testified to me that this church is true and I know its teachings make my family and me happier than we ever could be without it.

How I live my faith

I serve as the membership clerk in my ward which allows me to help welcome people into the church. I also visit a few families from the church each month to share a message and check on how they're doing. On top of what I do for church, I try to live my faith every day in my interactions with my wife, daughter, friends and everyone I come across. I'm far from perfect but I try to treat others as I think Christ would.
