Hi I'm Jordan

I have red hair, I love making people laugh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jordan and I grew up in Idaho. Idaho has always been a great place for me to live because I love to be really active. In Idaho there is tons of things to do like camping, hiking, fishing, and all kinds of things. I love sports like football, basketball and baseball. My family consists of me, my little sister and my mom and dad. They mean everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Becoming a Mormon for me has been probably the greatest decision of my life. My dads side of the family are all Mormon and active in the church, but my mom and her side of the family are not. Because of this I was not born into the church. I went a very long time without really wanting anything to do with the church, especially not becoming a member of it. Until I was almost 18 years old one of my best friends ever who is a member started consistently inviting me to attend church, although I never went. One time her dad invited me to a General Conference where we could hear the President of the church speak. I went to that and I felt something there I had never felt before. After that I began to do some other things with the church. One in particular was going to a celebration of a new temple that was built in Twin Falls. President Monson was there as well, and then at that point I realized that he really and truly was a true Prophet of God, and it was all downhill from there.

How I live my faith

I try my very best to do what I can to show my faith. After I was baptized I began to really see what being a member of the church was all about. I saw that as a member of the church I was put into many situations in which i had the chance to serve and help people. I received callings or assignments in the church. One of these was to serve a mission. A two year mission where I left my home and taught people about what I know to be true. It was difficult but I accepted this calling even though I had been in the church for less than two years. That's where I am now, serving a mission and trying to help people in any way that I can, and I have loved every minute of it!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte? For me personally, as a missionary, it is because of my love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This amazing knowledge of the Gospel has blessed me so much that I think it would be doing a disservice to not come out and share it with everyone that I possibly can. To try and bring that happiness to everyone. Show more Show less
