Hi I'm Brittany

I have a degree in Spanish Teaching. I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Spanish Teaching and English Teaching. Being a Spanish Teacher appealed to me because I am fascinated by the language and because I wanted to help youth to gain an appreciation for other cultures. Caring for my two-month-old son is my top priority, however, and so I am currently a full-time mom. I also enjoy reading, being artistic, playing the piano, and spending quality time with my husband and son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true church on the earth. I know this because I have felt the Holy Ghost witness it's truthfulness to me many times. I feel it when I pray, when I attend church meetings, when I hear the prophet speak, and when I read the scriptures. Further, being a member of this church makes me happy. I am happy not because it makes life easy, but because the gospel brings my life direction, peace, and purpose. I know who I am and that Heavenly Father cares about me personally and that He has a plan for me. And as I live His commandments and align my life with the teachings of the Church, I am happy here on earth and am prepared to return to live with Heavenly Father again someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending and participating in my church meetings, visiting with women in my ward to discuss the gospel, reading the scriptures and praying daily, attending the temple, and striving to be kind and helpful toward others.
