Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, I love the Carolina's, I'm a Chem Major and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest for the most part. I lived north of Seattle, and outside Portland. We moved a lot as a kid, because of my Dad's work. So went to a different school about every 3 years. I Recently came back from living for 2 years in the Carolina's, mostly North Carolina, but I did spend a few months in South Carolina. I loved it there. I am going to School studying Chemistry right now, and I want to go to Medical School when I'm done with my degree. I love video games, reading every book I can find, and playing Disc Golf. I also love just hanging out and watching a good movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I didn't always think it was true. I'd kinda just followed after what my parents did. My Dad joined the church later in life, and my mom had a testimony, so they set the example, and I followed. But in the years where most people become rebellious, I started to question whether the church was where God wanted me to be. Whether it was even true. So I started actually reading the scriptures, praying, being engaged in church meetings, really trying to find out if this was the truth or not. Over the course of a year, I came to find out that it was. My testimony came a little at a time, as I saw things in my life changing, getting better. But it is solid as a rock now. I know that God loves me. I know that the Savior Jesus Christ is there to provide mercy for me so I can return to live with my father. I know that he lived, died and lives again. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have again provided us with a prophet again so that we can know how to return and live with them. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church whereever I can find a need. I visit members of the local congregations and share spiritual messages with them, as well as seeing to their physical needs. I spent 2 years doing nothing but sharing with people the things I've come to know are true. I have served as a secretary for sunday school, as well as a youth leader. In the church, everything we do is volunteer, no paid workers. But I've learned and grown as I've served others. I try to read the scriptures daily and pray many times a day.
