Hi I'm Janell K Loveless

I am a traveler, a dancer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Janell Loveless (yes that is my last name). I have returned from a mission to the California Oakland/San Francisco mission. My love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ grew stronger as I was a missionary. I got married a couple months later and now live in Nebraska surrounded by Karen refugees from Burma. I am currently the Young Women's camp director and secretary. I loved my mission and now the Karen people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have such wonderful parent's who are fully converted into this church but It was my choice to be baptized. When I turned eight I decided that it would be best for me. I have never regretted that decision. I have had tiny spiritual experiences that gave me the confidence in this church. I have prayed and received that answer from the Holy Ghost that this is true.

How I live my faith

By just doing the simple ways of what is right. I read my scriptures everyday. I pray morning and night. Smiling to everyone and being kind. I be an example like Christ. "Small and simple things are great things brought to pass"- Book of Mormon

Who was Joseph Smith?

Janell K Loveless
He was the first prophet of the church. When Joseph Smith was 14 he was confused on which church to join. One night he read James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberlly, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." The only way to find out what church to join was to pray. So he went into the Sacred Grove to pray. He saw the Father and the Son. They told him to join none for they are none are correct. Thus Heavenly Father called Joseph Smith to be a Prophet. That through Joseph Smith, Jesus Christ would establish His church back on the earth once more never to be taken off again.
