Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a teacher, a wife and a mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 3 years. I'm an elementary music and French teacher. I love to play the piano, do yoga, read, bake, enjoy the outdoors, and decorate my home. I have a very close immediate family and extended family. I look forward to having a family of my own in the future!

Why I am a Mormon

I have the privilege of coming from a family of Mormons. I've been a member of the church for my whole life but that is not why I am a Mormon. Many times in my life I have been brought to question why I go to church every Sunday, why I pray, why I read my scriptures, why I don't swear or drink, why I dress modestly... the reason is simple, because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that when I do what my Heavenly Father asks me to do, He will bless me and bless my life. When I follow His commandments, I feel the spirit. I feel warm, happy, loved. That good, tingly feeling brings me great comfort and security. I feel so blessed to have the full gospel truth. This is Christ's church and I know that my Saviour lives.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to my church meetings. I am the ward choir director so after church I hold choir rehearsals for an hour. We prepare beautiful music to sing in our church meetings. I love interacting with people in the ward and feeling the spirit through music. I also visit and share an uplifting gospel message with 3 wonderful women each month who I have grown to be friends with.
