Hi I'm Brady

I'm a musician, I'm an artist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but I've spent most of my life growing up in Georgia. Ever since I was a little kid I've loved drawing. I can remember sitting in church when I was 4 years old and just drawing away from the time we got there until the time we left. Through the years I've worked hard to develop the artistic talent that God has given me, and I've been able to become quite good at it. In addition to art my other big passion in life is music. I started playing piano when I was 7 years old and 12 years later I still haven't stopped. Through the years I've picked up how to play other instruments including guitar and trombone. In high school I was the drum major for our marching band and I loved conducting music just as much as I enjoy playing it. I love to swim. I was on a swimteam ever since I was 6 years old. I'm an eagle scout. I just graduated high school last year, and right now I'm currently preparing to serve a mission in Copenhagen, Denmark for the next two years.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormons, so I grew up with the religion all around me. Being born into a Mormon family I just took the word of my mom and dad when they told me that we belonged to the right church. Until I was about 14 I really didn't have anything other than the faith of my parents to rely on. I never felt like I needed anything else before then, but when one day I just decided I needed to know for myself whether or not this church I had grown up in my whole life was the right church to be in, so I asked my Heavenly Father if the things I had been taught my whole life were true. I received my answer and now I know for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, I know that God loves all of his children, I know that He hears and answers prayers, and I know that as we put our trust in the Lord, He will lead us to the things that will truly make us happy in life.

How I live my faith

I've always been a firm believer in the principle "actions speak louder than words", so I live my faith by always trying to be an example to those around me. There will always be opportunities to serve those in need, and I am constantly looking for chances to do just that. Through scripture study and prayer I grow closer to God every day. I have a deep love for missionary work and try to share the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever and whenever I can. His gospel has brought me so much happiness in my life and I want to share the source of that happiness with everyone I meet.
