Hi I'm Jane

I grew up as a Baptist GA Queen. I met the Elders and now I'm sealed forever as a queen to my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I worked as a secretary for 8 years with the State of Virginia and then I retired to raise my 3 daughters and husband. I was very active in church with the youth in church camps and teaching seminary. I served 4 l/2 years as a part-time missionary with my husband by running a volunteer employment office. I have served in our women's organization and have sang in many church choirs. I have sewed many blankets and prepared many meals. I have given many talks and many prayers and now I have 3 granddaughters to spoil rotten.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Baptist, but I still had gospel questions I couldn't answer. When my questions were finally answered by the Elders, I knew I had found Christ's true Church. The Holy Ghost confirmed my answer and I knew I was making the right choice by being baptized into The Church.

How I live my faith

I started out my service in the Church by working with the youth at church and in the summer at camp. I taught an early morning seminary class for 5 years and then served 4 l/2 years for the Richmond Volunteer Employment Resource Center. Now my husband and I are serving in an inner city branch in Richmond, Virginia.
