Hi I'm Bryce

I love to watch movies, play video games, listen to music, and play sports. I'm a ginger and I'm a Mormon!!!......and so is the ox

About Me

I'm the middle child out of 3 kids. I'm serving a mission right now in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission also know as the great MMM. Before the mission I loved to watch movies. I loved to play sports I don't care what sport it is I love them all. I'm not very good at any sports but enjoy to play them all. My favorite sport is basketball. I also loved to play video games and hang out with my friends. I love to listen to music. I will listen to any type of music except country or rap i can't stand either of those. I have recently come to love darts. It's a lot of fun and can be very addicting at times. I love air hockey and have had some pretty funny moments when playing with my friends. I love to swim I can spend hours in the pool no matter how burned i get. Before coming on a mission I worked at Blockbuster video it was an awsome job. Whenever it was slow we would throw in a movie or game and just relax. I would love to go back there after my mission but it will probably be closed. I plan on getting into school and would love to go to BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I've lived my entire life in Utah so I did grow up a Mormon. That doesn't mean though that I ever really believed in the church. I only went because my parents forced me to and would look for an excuse out whenever I could. When I got to the age of 18 I had finished school and had to decide where to take my life from there. My bishop and my family wanted me to think about a mission but I didn't think that I would serve a mission. None of my family had served a mission and all my cousins had fallen away from the church. I didn't want to go but since I was the only one fairly active in the church my parents and my grandparents expected it of me. I decided to go on a mission to make my family happy. When I first got out I hated it and wanted nothing more than to go home. I knew very little about the church and thought to myself how am I supposed to teach this message when I don't know anything about it. I studied out the message and took the promise of the Book of Mormon at the end of the book and prayed. I came to know without a doubt that it was true and came to love the gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ. I have now been out for 6 months and am loving it. I love the gospel and am thankful for the knowledge I now have it really has been a blessing to me and my family. I know that this is Gods church restored to the earth, that Joseph Smith was called as a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is true

How I live my faith

I live my faith by obeying the commandments that god has given to us in these days. I listen to the words of the prophet and avoid any type of drugs or alcohol. As a missionary I live my faith everyday and preach the gospel to whomever will listen to me. I strive to be a good example to all around me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes it's in our title the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jesus Christ is very much a part of everything we do in the church. He is the center of our gospel. Show more Show less

No, there was a time when they did just as they did in the bible but that ended a long time ago. There is still a break off group that does practice polygamy but they are not a part of our church. Show more Show less

No, It's encouraged but it isn't required. We make the choice to come out and serve for two years. We are not paid but the blessings we receive are more than worth it. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We know that the gospel that we teach is true and blesses peoples lives. We want everyone else to experience those same blessings. We are willing to do whatever it takes to share our message. We never give up no matter how many doors we get slammed in our face, how cold it is,or people yell at us. Show more Show less

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8) if he had apostles then it makes sense that he would have them now Show more Show less
