Hi I'm Levi

I love to ski, and listen to music. I enjoy working with computers, and spending time with friends and family and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Shelby North Carolina where my father worked in the Trucking Industry. We skipped around a little bit up to Richmond Virginia and then back to North Carolina until my dad got a job offer which took us out West to Utah. I would say that is where most of my childhood memories were developed. I love the mountains for both purpose and appearance. I grew up trying every children league sport that was available but stuck more to Lacrosse and Basketball. I Love playing sports and being active. I have a great family, with one older sister who was recently married and two younger sisters. That meant a lot of "Helping Dad" work. I probably never graduated from a "go get me a...." rank but still learned a lot. From Mechanic work, to construction, to leather work, to making cheese; I have got one of those Dads who likes to do it himself. My family means a great deal to me, and they are largely responsible for who I am today. I was not always the greatest example of an ideal son or brother. I have made poor decisions and wasted time that could have been better spent. I think that our Heavenly Father expects some of that to an extent, but with such expectations will always give us an opportunity to change. I am grateful for that opportunity. There are so many places I would like to see, and even more things I would like to learn to do. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father that gives me the option to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I have received personal revelation from the spirit testifying of its truth. I was raised a member of the church and have had great parents and friends that have taught me about the gospel and been good examples to me. I think that is why I at least wanted to figure out if the church was true. I was never told to blindly follow. Or to accept it without asking questions. I figure something has to be true, and if God exists he will help me figure out what that is. I have read the Book Of Mormon and I have had the opportunity to pray about it and its contents and receive and answer. By so doing I know that Jesus is indeed the Chirst. I know that He once organized His church on the earth, and that He has once again restored it though the Prophet Joseph Smith. He has done this so we may understand our purpose here in this life and enjoy the blessings that are promised for living accordingly. Since I have been a member I have continued to learn and been able to answer a lot of, in my opinion, life's greatest questions. So I will continue to learn and seek after truth. I am grateful for my membership and the relationship it has helped me develop with my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, serving in the Lansing Michigan Mission so a huge part of my faith would be put forth to teaching it. The Church has blessed my life more than I could ever explain. I love the questions aspect of the gospel. Everyone is encouraged to ask questions and learn for themselves what is truth. I feel it a huge blessing to be able to help people find those answers to their questions, as I myself continue to learn.
