Hi I'm Nicole

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a stay at home wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful children, 1 girl and 1 boy. My husband and I have been married for just over 6 years. My husband just recently joined the US Air Force which moved us to San Antonio, TX. This is our first time as a family being away from "home" and are enjoying the ups and downs of learning to love a new place. We miss our family back in Utah but are grateful to know they are only a phone call away.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized when I was 8 years old. Throughout the challenges of life, there have been so many opportunites to test and strengthen my beliefs. As a teenager, I knew that Heavenly Father was there watching over me as temptations came and went. He was there as I struggled with personal challenges and was guided to the scriptures where I was able to find comfort and peace. As a young adult who had just moved away from home, the tests were stronger and harder to withstand, but the blessings of knowing I have a Savior who has atoned for me and made it possible for me to be able to overcome the adversary has made my faith and love of the gospel so much stronger! Being married in the temple, starting my own family, and struggling with knowing how to teach my own children is a whole new aspect of learning a love for the gospel. I love that we have a prophet and apostles that guide and direct us in these paths. I love that we have the priesthood in our home to give us blessings when we feel we are failing. I love knowing that as deeply as I love my children it is only a fraction of the love that I know our Savior and Heavenly Father have for each of us.

How I live my faith

One of the best parts of living my faith is through the visiting teaching program. I have learned to love the women that I visit and those that visit me so much! Moving to a new place is always difficult but I love that through this program I am always able to find a friend; I am able to find someone who is instantly willing to listen and to help.
