Hi I'm John Rosell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints since I was born. The church has taught me how to be a better man, husband, Father, and how to be an example of Jesus Christ. Belonging to Gods church has been such a blessing in my life. I have been blessed with great friends who have helped me live the gospel and experience the true joys of life. I have a wonderful wife, 6 great kids and now one little grandchild that is a cutie. The gospel has blessed our family and has helped us grow closer together and has helped us develop that love the Savior talks about. One of our long time family hobbies is going to the sand dunes at Glamis California. I have been going since I was 14, and continued that hobby with my family. Everyone loves the dunes. The kids are now old enough to drive the sandrail. I have to beg for my turn to drive. We have a group of church members that we hang with there which makes for an enriching week.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have been blessed with a witness through the Holy Ghost that God loves all his children. Because of that love he restored His gospel back to earth to provide us the opportunity to return and live with him for ever. I know that he has a plan for happiness in this world and in the world to come. His desire is for us in this world is to experience that joy. He wants us happy. His gospel has always brought joy, peace, and love into the life of those who allow him into your life. The ultimate show of love from Him to us was allowing His son, Jesus Christ to atone for my sins. I can never repay Him for that. The gospel plan is so clear and understandable. God gives us commandments to live by so our lives can progress down the path that will bring true happiness. Happiness comes from doing what God asks. This has been such a blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my life everyday in service to my fellowman. I currently serve as bishop in our ward. It is a lot of work but is very rewarding. Seeing people live the gospel is a testament to me of God's love and existence. To see someone who has fallen from the gospel path and then through the power of the Holy Ghost have a desire to repent an get back on the path brings a great joy into my life. There is really nothing we can do in this life that can't be repented of. God wants all his children to return to him. Because of that knowledge I try my best to help.
