Hi I'm Matt Staheli

I am a memeber of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am husband to a beautiful wife and father of four amazing and beautiful children. I love sports (especially football), the outdoors, and just spending time with family. I currently work as a healthcare administrator for a specialty clinic in Salt Lake. I currently serve as the 2nd Counselor in the ward young men's presidency, Deacon's Quorum Advisor and Scoutmaster of troop 723.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Spiritual manifestations I have received throughout my life which have given me an unshakable knowledge of the truth of the gospel which has been restored through the vessel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been a "Mormon" from birth, however, it was not until after finding the truth for myself, through the Spirit, that I could truly gain the understanding which currently resides in me and, hopefully, radiates from me in the form of light. The testimony I have of the gospel of Jesus Christ is completely independent of any other person and is fully based on the incredible manifestations that come from the Holy Ghost in bearing record of truth. There truly is a Plan of Salvation put into place by a loving and caring Father in Heaven, who is the Father of us all. Jesus Christ is the literal Son of the Father born into the flesh in order to fulfill the Atonement so that we can receive immortality and, if we believe in Him and keep His commandments, may inherit Eternal Lives. Jesus Christ is my Savior, Redeemer, and Advocate with the Father who truly is pleading my case and continually walking with me and watching over my life. The truth of His gospel has been restored in these latter days through His church in order to prepare us for His coming and prepare us for the eventual peace and joy that comes through the righteous obedience to covenants made and ordinances performed on this earth. Prophets and Apostles have been called to lead the Savior's church as they were when the Savior himself set up his church. Priesthood power has, again, been restored to the earth in order to perform the necessary ordinances for salvation. One of the greatest aspects of my testimony is that, through the Spirit, I know that anyone can know of a surety these very truths and know their Savior in a very personal way. The Holy Ghost will bear record of all of this, and more, when one approaches the Father in sincere prayer.

How I live my faith

I strive, daily, to live my faith by daily performances of personal, couple and family prayer, personal and family scripture study and by working to emulate the example of the Savior in all my actions. I work hard to fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of my church callings and actively attend my church meetings. I work to be honest and ethical in all my business dealings. I keep myself clean in my appearance, actions and language. My wife and I work to attend the temple on a regular and frequent basis. I listen to good, wholesome music and watch uplifting movies and shows. I work to keep my family relationships strong and healthy by spending quality time with my family and maintaining patience and selflessness in my dealings with them.
