Hi I'm Mitch

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 24 year old from the Spokane, WA area and am currently serving in the Utah St. George Mission. I come from a small family and have been a member all my life. I like to hang out with friends, watch good movies, hunt, fish, wakeboard, play guitar, ride motorcycles, play with cars and do just about anything outside. Before my mission I was a university student studying History and am planning on getting a Master's in Anthropology when I get home. I also like Toyotas. A lot.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but went inactive for a number of years while a teenager until I was about 21. I realized that my life was completely miserable, and decided one Sunday to go to church. I felt something that I had missed, and decided to change my life and return to the church. It was the best, and hardest, decision I've ever made in my life. I had to change almost everything about me in order to live in accordance with the principles of the gospel again. But, I did it. I am living proof that it is possible for anyone to change and now I'm on a mission, telling others about the thing that changed me; the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that this is His church. I know that He lives and that He loves us. I know that the Atonement can purify us and through it we can be forgiven of anything. I know that the Bible and Book of Mormon are the words of God and contain the fullness of His gospel. I am a Mormon because the gospel changed my life; because it has made me happier than anything the world has to offer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving others and trying everyday to be more like Christ, although I am FAR from perfect. I am currently serving as a missionary and have the privilege and honor of talking to others about the gospel daily.
