Hi I'm Skivi

I love volleyball, beach, I'm a child of the Covenant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HOLA MI AMIGO’s! My name is Stephen. I was born in Samoa and moved here to the states when I was 9 years old. I grew up in Rialto California and after I graduated high school moved to St. George Utah. I'm quiet around people i don't know but once you get to know me it's a whole different story. My pride gets in the way ;(l'~l but I'm constantly trying my best. I live, eat and breath volleyball but im giving it up for 2 years. I love singing in my head where no one can hear, playing the piano or jamming on the uke and spending time with family/friends. Family is everything to me. I’m currently serving as a full time missionary here in the California Fresno Mission 2010-2012. The Best Mission in the world (WE BAPTIZE) I've met alot of amazing people here in Fresno. My testimony has grown even stronger here in the field and is continuing to grow each day. I love what I do and that is to invite others to come unto Christ. By helping them receive his restored gospel. ;Dl'~l

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. Every Sunday I went to church I heard people say I know this church is true and I know the Book of Mormon is true. So I started to believe it. My Mother had a strong testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I started to build my testimony of off hers. But eventually I had to gain my own testimony and I wanted to know for myself if this is the true church of Jesus Christ here on the earth. Once I gained a testimony of the Book Of Mormon I knew that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of our Heavenly Father and The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the only true church of Christ here on earth. The way i gained my testimony was through experience and applying the principles of the Gospel Of Jesus Christ into my life. Most importantly it was through the Holy Ghost that my prayers were answered. I’m grateful for the Gospel that's here in my life and for the scriptures, a living prophet (Thomas S. Monson) here on the earth and for the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation that I have. I look at all these things as a beacon in our lives to help guide us safely back home to our father in Heaven. So I’m a Mormon because it brings me peace, joy, hope and TRUE happiness and also that families can be together for all time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into my life. As members of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints not only do we talk our faith but we live our faith. It's not just a Sunday thing. It's more of a life style :)
