Hi I'm Adam

I'm a student, an outdoors man, and a rescuer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am currently going to school at Idaho State University. My major is Emergency Management. After I graduate with a degree in Emergency Management I plan on going on and becoming a paramedic. To help me gain experience in field I am part of Bannock County Search and Rescue. In Search and Rescue we are the medical first responders in the county and were perform first aid, extrication, and do searches in the mountains. I love to be active! Playing sports and just enjoying the outdoors are some of my favorite things to do. Even though I like to be active I also enjoy to play my viola. Although I'm not very good, it is something that is relaxing as I attempt to make music with my hands.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but as I was growing up I had to gain a testimony for myself. When I was a teenager I decided that I wanted to find out if it was all true. So I started to read the Book of Mormon and started to pray about it. After a lot of persistence, one day I was reading and I had an over whelming feeling came over me and I immediately knew how much God loves me. At that point I knelt down and began to pray. As I started to pray I felt the Spirit very strongly testify to me that the Book of Mormon is true. Ever since then if I have a question or a doubt I just remember the answer I got about the Book of Mormon and everything else just falls into place.

How I live my faith

Every day I look for opportunities to serve others. Even if it is just little things. In fact you could say I'm addicted to service. It is just something that can be fun and joyful! Aside from just random service I also serve in my local church as a ward clerk. When I first got called to be a clerk I didn't realize how big of a responsibility it would be. I have learn how important it is to keep accurate records of things. It has helped me better understand the scripture that says what is recorded on earth is recorded in heaven.
