Hi I'm John-Mark Edmonds

I'm from Connecticut. I don't live around a lot of Mormons but I still know that this is the path God wants me to be on.

About Me

I have been born and raised in the church. I have a loving and amazing wife who is also a lifelong member of the church. I have spent my life in New England of the United States. I served a mission for my church in the great country of Australia. I will be moving back there to be with my wonderful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

My decision to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a personal one. It is true that I was raised in the church, attended every Sunday, and did youth group. But around when I turned 19 and was struggling with the decision to volunteer two years of my life to help other people learn about our beliefs, I realized that as much as I knew and understood about the church, I really didn't know them to be true. So over a process of a few months of personal scripture study, in both the Bible and Book of Mormon, as well as other church literature, prayer, fasting, and discussion with others, both fellow Mormons and friends of various belief systems, I came to the realization that this is God's church back on the Earth. It had been reestablished by a true prophet, Joseph Smith, That the Book of Mormon, was God's evidence that He still speaks to man today, that He never changes, and that He always will do what is in the best interest of us, his children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making it a part of every aspect of my life. Following the teachings of Christ is a day to day person to person lifestyle. Just as Christ surrounded himself with his followers and primarily taught by example that should be our foremost way of truly "living" our faith.
