Hi I'm Lindsey

I grew up in the South. I'm married to my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy swimming, being with my family and friends, watching movies and photography. I will be graduating from BYU-I in July. I studied Early Childhood and Special Education and am passionate about children and their educational needs. I love being outdoors and enjoying the beauties of the earth for they are truly all around us. I have been married for a year and a half to my wonderfully patient and adorable husband, Sam. We have a little puppy named, Theodore (Theo) who is pug/Pomeranian. He has stolen our hearts and we learn much from him each day. He serves as my service animal and is very good at what he does. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life and absolutely love it! The gospel is what brings me true and everlasting happiness amidst all the ups and downs life can bring us. I wouldn't trade my trials for anything. They are what make me who I am. They strengthen me and allow me to truly learn and know what it means to trust in God with all we have. One of my favorite scriptures is just that, Proverbs 3:5-6. I know that trials are temporary and part of our mortal experience here on earth. I have an eternal perspective on life and know that one day I will be healed by my Savior, Jesus Christ. For that I am eternally grateful and will ever strive to be just like my brother, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, having both my parents members, I believe everyone has their own conversion story. I am a Mormon because I have felt and continue to feel the love of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me too. I know the Holy Ghost is real because I have felt his promptings and love. I am a Mormon because my life is so much sweeter when I have an eternal goal to work for.

How I live my faith

Faith is hard work. Faith is knowing things really will turn out for the better. Faith is enduring. I live my faith by KNOWING the Lord will guide me in my life as long as I do my part. I live my faith by trying to keep the eternal perspective.
