Hi I'm Hannah Rosette

I'm an avid writer and blogger and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy little army wife, homemaker, and striving writer! Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a writer and to this day I remain loyal to this dream. Writing and expressing myself has been one of the most fulfilling vocation for me. I am currently working on a series and hope to someday publish them!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were one of the first "pioneers" of the church on the Philippine island I was born on, Panay. In fact, my father was the first stake president on that island. My father died when I was three. A few years after his death my family migrated to the US. Moving to a different country was tough but attending the LDS church made it easier for our family. My widowed mother always prioritized the church and tried her best to keep her children engaged in church activities. The good habits of attending church related activities and going to church every Sunday has been the building block of my testimony that Christ is our Savior. I love Christ and I am grateful for His perfect example, mercy, and love. There is so much to learn from Him and I look forward in emulating His teachings in this life. Jesus Christ it is the source of happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

One thing the church has really ingrained in me is by small and simple means great things come to pass. I try to reach out to peope in my little circle of influence and spend time with them to let them know I care. I think that people are eager for more love and patience and I try in my own simple ways to provide that. As Christ as my example, I want to be a light in others' lives. Even if my influence is just a flicker, I have hope that perhaps it may help kindle their candle someday. Those are my goals in my personal life. In my family life, my husband and I have a goal to visit the temple once a month. This goal has been wonderful for our marriage because going to the temple really brings the Spirit in our home. It has brought such peace and tranquility in my life that I have yearned to go more than once a month because I love that feeling! I know that good feeling is from having the Lord in my life.
