Hi I'm Andrea Harrison

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom, and in between batches of chocolate chip cookies and long walks with a talkative blond in a little red wagon I am writing a novel, singing, and playing my guitar. I graduated from Utah State University in 2005 in Law and Constitutional Studies, where I was dissuaded from becoming a lawyer, but not from marrying one. I can be found freckling on the beaches of southern California, but the soles of my feet will always feel most at home on my native Utah soil.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. It is wonderful to be part of something miraculous. I don't mean that every time I go to the temple the line of LA traffic before me parts like the Red Sea and I drive through, but miracles happen. Miracles are the small changes of heart that can happen when I live close to God. I love that the church is a gospel of unchanging truths, that yet can change me for the better every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving others and living up to the commitments I have made with Christ. I often help with activities for the young women of our church. I want to help them learn that they are daughters of God. I also have been given many opportunities to help with the young children of the church. It is wonderful to be able to be connected to so many different people. The church really feels like my family. I love being able to do my part for my brothers and sisters in the gospel.
