Hi I'm Jacob Ramos

Born in California, raised in Mexico. I'm bicultural. I love trying new things, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third child of seven seven boys and two girls. I love to dance and have fun! I'll try just about anything once. I was born in the San Fransisco bay area but know little about it because I moved to Mexico when I was three years old. We then moved to Texas when I was six and stayed there for three years. Ever since I was nine I've lived in Mexico. I finished serving as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California Fresno Mission and I'm studying at BYU with a Spanish translation major and a linguistics minor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church by good parents. They taught me valuable principles by which I wish to live my life. Everyone goes through the teenage rebelion; trying to figure out who you are and what the point is of everything. So did I. I wondered if I was doing the right thing. If everything was true. A lot of times I hear how converts say that it is easier if you grew up in the church. I also hear that it's easier for a convert because they know the difference between having the gospel in your life and not. I say it is different for each and every one of us. To come fully to the Lord is a process. Repentance often being the means. I know God lives, and that He still speaks to us today through a modern day prophet. That is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to better the lives of the people I meet in any way I can.
