Hi I'm Brooks

I'm a Hard Rocker, Sports Lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Brooks, I'm from a small town in Idaho. I'm the oldest in my family of 8 kids, I know, never a dull moment. I'm currently going to college studying Business Management and Marketing. My interests usually consistent of things that require a lot of energy and passion/ emotion. I find myself mostly engaging in music and sports. Interests I love to rock the house. The energy you receive from music is powerful. Music describes what words can't. I'm currently in a band that's known for aggressive, hard hitting rock. I play the Bass Guitar and Guitar. I enjoy and respect MOST genres of music. I have a passion for Basketball and Football. I love everything about competitive sports, from the strategy, the under dog, the stadium, and everything in-between.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has given me a huge amount of guidance. There are so many different paths you can take in this world, the church lays a simple, safe, and reliable route that gives me strength to endure life's trials and challenges. How do i know this is the path? God provides a simple way to know. The Holy Spirit communicates with our spirits to confirm what is true. The church provides practical guidelines that keep me from damaging my spirits, I know these guidelines are true because of have prayed about them, and most importantly have seen the postive affects in my personal life.

How I live my faith

I think it's important to be a good person that looks out for others. I attend a small congregation that consists of young single adults from ages 18-30. I think it's really important to hang out and be friends with people that help lift you and make you a stronger person. This congregation helps me do that. The church gives every member a duty, or calling. My calling gives me the opportunity to reach out and help people outside our congregation. I help them know about the positive community we have for young adults.
