Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Southern Utah. I enjoy outdoor activities. Superman is my favorite boyscout. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy the time spent with family and friends. A lot of things I enjoy are hiking, riding four-wheelers and dirtbikes, and skateboarding in the summer. While in the winter I snowboard and snowmobile. I'm always up for a good videogame or book when the weather is no good.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since I was eleven years old, but my family has been Mormon since I can remember. I grew up in the culture of Mormonism, but never really knew what I believed or why I believed it until I was in high school. Moments in my life led me to ask those big questions like "Is there even a God?", "What is the point in me living?", and "Am I going to live my life being something I'm not even sure about?" I knew all these questions wouldn't just come by doing nothing, so I acted and sought answers. However with all my searching and pondering I failed to ask God if he was even there listening. I knew if he was he would let me know and if he wasn't...well I guess he couldn't let me know cause he wouldn't be there and I would stop from that point. So, I finally asked having the smallest hope that there would be a reply. There was...and just knowing that that one small thing, that God was really there and that he loved me, has led me down my happy road to learning more truth and ultimately having more happiness. That's why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting on it. "Actions speak louder than words", Well, I suppose there should be at least something said about my actions so far. I strive to give my best effort, because if its not your best you give then you are not growing and becoming better. "My best never stays the same. What was once my best is now only good, and that's not good enough for me anymore." By seeking to always be better than I was the day before I find the motivation and mindset I need to work at my faith.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

We can come to know our Heavenly Father by different means. For me it has been reading scriptures and praying to him. I pray as if I were speaking to my own father or someone close to confide in and share my worries and happiness with. Reading from scriptures is like reading a biography in a sense. There are other people, like the prophets and apostles, that have written about him. What they have written helps me get a better idea of who my Heavenly Father is and what he has done for me and the entire world. Show more Show less
