Hi I'm Erik

I'm a son, a brother, an uncle and a missionary. I love my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Oregon, or the Great Northwest, and I love to be outdoors. I enjoy rock climbing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, and playing in the snow.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my family and want to be with them forever, and the only way that I can be with my family after this life is by living the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in this church. For me, I cannot imagine heaven without my family. It simply would not be heaven without them. It is my family that brings me the greatest joy in this life, and without them, heaven would be rather empty. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves us, who has given us a family here on earth, and has made it possible for us to return and live with them in His presence forever.

How I live my faith

If you were to meet me today, it wouldn't take you too long to realize that I'm a member of the Church. It's hard to miss, since right now I am serving as a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If the fact that I'm always riding around on a bicycle in a white shirt and tie wearing a black nametag doesn't give me away, I don't know what would. I love being a missionary, and am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity I have to share with others the things that I know are true and have made me happy. It's a really good feeling when the people that you share the gospel with actually begin to live it and are blessed because of it.
