Hi I'm William

I grew up in Missouri. I live for my family and friends. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to fix things. Thats probably my favorite thing to do. I like to watch old movies, play golf, play scrabble or video games, or just spend time with my wonderful family. I really enjoy watching sports. The Kansas City Chiefs are my favorite professional team. Next to watching the Chiefs play, I really love the NFL Draft; it is fascinating to me. Baseball is my second favorite. I also love to watch boxing. I enjoy the outdoors a lot as well. Watersports, especially boating, swimming, wakeboarding, and cliffjumping are some of my favorites. I love to fish. Some of my fondest memories are of the state park near my folks' home.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is hard! I have learned, through experience, that it is easier with the Lord as your constant companion. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has brought so much happiness into my life. It has blessed my family in ways that are indescribable. Having said those things, the Book of Mormon is the reason for my membership in this church. It is true. It is espoused by no other church. It persuades men and women to follow Christ and keep his commandments and has brought the Spirit into my life. I treasure the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

Before being called as a full-time missionary, I served the people of my home ward by helping young men ages 12 to 18 develop their faith in Jesus Christ. I did this as a leader of a youth group. By participating in a variety of activities like bowling, swimming parties, capture the flag, the Boy Scouting program, and waterskiing, coupled with instruction relating to the Gospel, the young men I served were able to gain greater faith in the Gospel, develop self-confidence, and make friends that shared the same values.
