Hi I'm Richard

I enjoy being creative. I'm into MMA. And I love bass wobbles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my parents. I am the oldest child. I have one younger brother. My family lives in southern California. Because of my love for music and dancing, I eventually became a DJ to share my joy with others. Especially friends. I also like mixed martial arts. It is super fun. It's my favorite sport. Don't ask me for any secret moves though; I won't show you them unless I'm beating you up. I am not going to school at the moment. I am currently serving in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. Out of any work that I do, I love missionary work the most. I love bringing happiness to others. I will return to school once I get back. I want to study Industrial Design. I love using art and technology to create things.

Why I am a Mormon

My family and I were baptised on October of 2006. One of the reasons I was converted to the gospel was simply families. I'm happy when my mom is happy. And I'm sad when she is sad. I never wan't to dissapoint her. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ brings families closer together. With the things that I have learned, I have been protected from making decisions that will seriously harm me or my family. As I continued to learn more about the church, I gained an eternal perspective. I began to know a little more about my potential and my purpose in life. And I continue to learn who Jesus Christ is, and his importance in all things.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called (chosen) to serve in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. Georgia is such a beautiful place. I love the people there. I love reading The Book of Mormon. No other book brings me as much happiness as The Book of Mormon. All true happiness that I have recieved was a result of my baptism and obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Really, anyone is invited and welcome to the temple. I believe that the temples of Jesus Christ not only look more beautiful than anything on the earth; they also have a spiritual beauty that draws people. And it draws people for a reason. Inside the temple, sacred ceremonies are performed. These ceremonies, or "ordinances", are very sacred and special to those who follow Jesus Christ. Everything inside the temple is sacred. And we do all things in faith because we know it will bring us the happiness that Heavenly Father has promised us and wants us to have. So every single person on this earth (every one of God's children) is encouraged to go to temple. And because it is such a sacred and meaningful place, people must meet certain guidelines of moral worthiness and be spiritually prepared. And it is also because of respect and reverence to Heavenly Father. To do so, you must first have faith in Jesus Christ and be baptized into His church. You must continually live and change according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Second, you must learn about and be prepared for the temple. Last, you must reach a standard of worthiness and receive a temple recommend (which is a piece of paper that allows you to enter the temple). When you become a member of The Church, there will be many loving members willing to help you get to the temple. Just ask! Show more Show less
