Hi I'm Jerry

A late blooming grandfather of two and a sixth generation Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are the parents of three daughters and one son who is a missionary in Ohio. We are also recent grandparents of two. I'm a promotional products sales rep. When one of our daughters was about 14 she was visiting with a group of her friends. They were talking about what their families were "in to". Someone said their family like to go boating. Another said their family did lots of camping and someone else said they went skiing together as a family. When our daughter was asked by someone in the group what her family was in to, she had to think for a few seconds and then finally replied "church". We have tried a little variety of things as a family, from skiing to camping to boating but we have not been consistant at nor made a habit of any one family activity except perhaps going to church on Sundays.

Why I am a Mormon

Prophets have directed Gods people since the beginning. Christ established his New Testament church with twelve Apostles. When I listening to and following those who serve in these callings today, I know God provides for his people in our day as He has in the past. The ancient record called The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and His gospel and is tangible evidence for me of the restoration of His church.

How I live my faith

My wife and I teach an adult Sunday school class together each Sunday. Together we also chair a committee organized to build a float for The Days of '47 parade. I serve our community as a trustee on the irrigation water board.
