Hi I'm Kent

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm a CPA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of three boys. I fill my days with work, church service, community service and family activities. My interests seem to focus around the kids and their activities. I will admit that I enjoy getting lost in a good movie or book.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've seen how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives. I've seen it strength and change who I am and provided guidance to my family. I feel the love of my Savior as I study, pray and attend worship services. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ gives us strength to overcome life's trials. Life can get pretty crazy and chaotic. However, the simple and humble path of following our Savior leads to a life of meaning, joy and peace. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to do my best at each area of my life. I volunteer in our neighborhood HOA. I am active with the Boy Scouts of America. I support my wife in her volunteer efforts at the school and in the community. I'm active in our neighborhood swim team. In our local congregation, I am the Bishop which means that I help oversee a congregation of about 400 members. I particularly enjoy working with the youth of our congregation and those who may be seeking peace in their lives. I enjoy helping these youth people and those who may be heavy hearted learn to feel the love that our Savior has for them and his guiding hand in their lives.
