Hi I'm Carmen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life centers around my family and my faith. I am married to the most wonderful man and have two beautiful children that fill my life with joy and lots of experiences that make me grow! I am a stay-at-home mom...and I love it. I love it because in my job I get to focus on 2 of the people I love the most. I get to work nearly 24-7 teaching my kids to be the adults I know God wants them to be. It's challenging and yet so rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found the greatest joy in living the tenants of the Mormon faith. Living the commandments God has given me results in a feeling of safety as well as freedom.

How I live my faith

My first obligation is my relationship with God. I try to live my life in a way that I know would please God. I also try to communicate with him openly many times throughout the day. In this way I feel I can better stay connected with and guided by Him. My second obligation is to my family. I am not perfect in doing so, but my daily goal is to live harmoniously with my husband and children. I seek to treat them as I know Jesus would have treated his family. This involves thinking of my husband's feelings above my own, which, as I stated before, I tend to do rather imperfectly. It also involves teaching my children the tenants of our faith daily and doing so with love and patience... again, imperfectly, but striving for daily improvement. My third obligation is to others. There are many opportunities to reach out to others within the Mormon church and outside as well. My faith teaches me that when I help others, in reality I am helping God. It makes me feel like I can do a little something to show my gratitude to God for all He has given me.
