Hi I'm Emily Fugal

I'm a stay at home mother of four busy kids and loving every minute of it. It's a handful, but it's a good handful! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother of four lovely children, three boys and one girl. I love to cook, read, and spend time outdoors. I also love people. I like getting to know new people and staying in touch with friends. I also love to read and learn and play. Life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

My family heritage dates back to the early years of the Church. I was raised LDS and have chosen to follow the teachings of my parents and grandparents by becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I want to follow the Savior and be able to return to my Heavenly Father with my family some day. I am learning how to do that through my membership in His Church. Being a member of the Lord's Church is the best blessing in my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. I have been taught to pray, study His word and strive to keep His commandments. I am doing my best to do those things. I am not perfect and make mistakes, and so I am grateful that I can repent of my mistakes and try to do better each day. I am trying to learn more about my Savior by studying the scriptures daily, especially the Book of Mormon. I also study the words of His living prophet and apostles. By learning His word, I can understand how He lived and how He wants me to live. I feel like I make better choices and a better person when I am trying to follow Jesus. I also gain great understand and peace by attending the temple often. It is like a glimpse into eternity and I feel so grateful to be able to serve even those who have pass on.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Emily Fugal
If we are living worthy the Holy Ghost can literally guide us in all things. In our thoughts, words, actions, emotions, relationships with others. If we give our lives to God, what He gives us back is far more wonderful than anything we could have imagined ourselves. The Holy Ghost is the means by which He communicates to us and helps us to feel His divine and abiding love. It is the most amazing gift we can be given, because we can receive all things we need and a lot of what we want through the guidance of the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Emily Fugal
All things good in this world point us toward God. Every smile, uplifting song, embrace, the sun, rain, good food, a wonderful friend, dear parents, a loving spouse, energetic children. I see His love for me and for all of mankind in literally all things. I can see Him in every good book that I read, every delicious dish that I taste, in every good thought and in the miracle of birth, life and death. His whole earth and each of His children on this earth is evidence that God loves us and wants us to be happy! The true miracle is that He has provided a way for us to be happy. "Oh it is wonderful!" God loves me and you and all of us! Show more Show less
