Hi I'm Morgan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in California, but moved to Kentucky several years ago. I'm a nuclear medicine technologist and a student. I love to travel, relax, watch movies, and learn. Education is something that is super important to me and I believe that by learning about different people and places, we develop the love for others that God wants us to have.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Christ's true church is on the earth today and that God still speaks to us. It took me a long time to figure that out, but once I did, I am so much happier.

How I live my faith

I used to work with the young kids and teenage girls in my ward and really enjoyed it! Young people have so much faith and are so excited to learn--something the rest of us could take a lesson from!

What do Mormons believe about family?

A family is meant to last forever. Can you imagine being without your family? Ever? Granted some families are chaotic and filled with contention and turmoil, but God has given them to us to help us find happiness and peace. In my experience, a lot of people believe that we will automatically be with our families forever. But just as Christ taught that we must be baptized in order to enter the kingdom of God, we must meet certain requirements in order to be with our families forever. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Because we follow Jesus Christ. He showed us and told us that we must be baptized in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. And we must be baptized with the proper authority, that same power and authority of God that Christ gave to His apostles. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

We know that we can live with our Heavenly Father, along with our families, after we die. Our purpose in life is to learn! As we learn to do what's right, and how to find truth, we come closer to God. He loves us and wants to give us all He has--but we have to earn it. When we obey His commandments, we can then receive the greatest blessings He has to give us. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

I think that happens because others are confused about what we truly believe. When they come to find that we only follow Jesus Christ and desire to do what's right, that stereotype disappears. Show more Show less
