Hi I'm Drew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full-time student trying to find balance with so many demands on my time! I love music and food and infuse that with my passion to create. I often find myself thinking about new ideas for songs, or dreaming up tasty concoctions to eat.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Latter-day Saint FEELS good. I stress "feels" because as a scholar, I experience many ideas and theories that make sense. However, not all of the theories and ideas that I am taught from the world coincide with what God teaches. When I hear and understand truth, I can feel God's love for me. It FEELS good, it FEELS right, and I am happy having that peace and direction in a world full of conflicting ideas.

How I live my faith

Being a young adult and not married, I attend a congregation of fellow "Young Single Adults." Although I enjoy attending services with my family, it is really nice to be a part of a congregation where so many of us are experiencing similar things; many of us are attending school, trying to find careers, and looking for a spouse. I work closely with the Bishop of our congregation and the other leaders. He and the other men are married and are well established professionals. It is neat for me to rub shoulders with and learn from accomplished men that love God and are willing to serve His children. From their direction and example, I have come to make changes in my life that will help me become a better professional, a more prepared husband and father, and a more devoted servant of Christ. I live my faith one day at a time.
