Hi I'm Jill

I am an Air Force wife, a mother, an adoptive mother, a singer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my husband for 12 wonderful years. We enjoy being in the Air Force and meeting new people each time we move. I am a full time stay at home mama. We have one bio miracle daughter, who is 11, and we adopted two special needs children (twins, boy and girl, 8) from Ukraine in 2008 (FAS, Cerebral Palsy, Severe mental delay) and just completed the adoption of two boys from Russia (6 and 3) who both have heart conditions. (Mitral Stenosis, Double inlet left ventricle, High pulmonary hyptertension, L-aorta, and Tetralogy of Fallot). I spend a lot of time shuffling the kids to doctor appointments and therapy. I love my family. I also love to sing classical and religious music. I enjoy baking and cooking for my now family of 7 and I enjoy blogging - I have 4 blogs!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I have spent my life studying the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He died for me. This knowledge brings peace and happiness and direction in my life. Everything good that comes to me has come from hard work and from God blessing me. I love that I can receive personal revelation and know what God's will is for me.

How I live my faith

Everyday I strive to read my scriptures, pray, and help serve others. With a large family, there is always someone to serve! I know that what I am doing is making a difference for someone else. I enjoy blogging about international adoption and having children with special needs. It makes me happy when I can share how the gospel affected our decisions to adopt special needs and how it brings me peace during difficult times.

What is faith?

Faith, to me, is a belief in action. Show more Show less
