Hi I'm Adam Kump

I Love Music, and My Family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

WELL, I am a college student, and I am one who seeks contentment in life through doing what brings me joy. Some things that bring me joy are not so unique, but for whatever reason I feel special when I participate in them. I like Being Creative. I like Singing and Songwriting. I like Performing. I like the Outdoors. I like Girls. I like to Date Girls. I like Seeing my Family Members Succeed. I like Reflecting on the past, and talking about funny stories with my friends. I like Being gateful for, and happy with, what I have now. I like Pondering on what God wants for my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the presence of the Catholic faith in my life, but honestly, with little to no understanding of the religion. I believed in Jesus Christ, and I knew that prayer was important. I had the blessing of attending the the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints and my traditional church very frequently. My Father and Mother both felt strongly about their respective religions. My father being a Mormon, and my mother a Catholic. At about the time I was 9 the missionaries gave all of the lessons at our home, I was left wondering which path I needed to follow, I had already been baptized in the catholic church as an infant, and so with what I understood I could continue in the Catholic faith and receive my first communion, or be re-baptized into the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, both churches claiming to be the true church upon the earth.I attended, like I said, very much to both and there was a very clear difference in the way I felt when I went to the "mormon" church. I felt happy. It made sense.I understood what I was hearing. It was literally a brighter atmosphere and I felt Joy as I learned quicker and easier who I was as a Child of God and about the scriptures. In my own personal experiences there was much more peace and tranquility. It came down to me Making a decision through Prayer,or in other words, When I decided to trust My Heavenly Father enough to ask Him for myself what I needed to do, that was when I felt the Holy Ghost Answer my prayer and tell me what I needed to do (John 14:26-27). at the age of 10 I knelt down and I asked if I needed to get my first communion or if I should be re-baptized. what came to my head was all of the things that i just mentioned about how I felt different. In essence, I felt that God was signaling to me which was best, and which was my answer. My mother and I overcame our fears and entered into the waters of baptism. Now, I returned home from my full-time mission in HOU, TX with honor. Glory to God.

How I live my faith

I Gotta stay in line, I gotta make sure to Keep Faith in Our Savior, no Fear, pray always, read the scriptures daily, Repent quickly if I sin. Serve others.
