Hi I'm Carl

I grew up in Washington State. I have been in the military for the past 12 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an officer in the United States Navy. I am a father of four children, and a husband. I am a Registered Nurse, and I work in the Emergency Room. I spent 10 years in the Air Force as a TACP and then a Fire Fighter.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ brings direction, and it brings peace. When you have the whole gospel and not just bits and pieces your knowledge and understanding of God's eternal truths expand and grow. I serve in the military, this means I go to dangerous parts of the world. I am a trauma nurse, this means I see horrible and terrible things. My faith gives me the strength and courage to serve without fear and help others.

How I live my faith

I am assigned to work with the fulltime missionaries as a ward mission leader. I am a home teacher. In the military you are usually the only mormon around. I have been blessed these last two years to be around three other mormons!
